On 11 February 2020 Rima Devereux, a senior editor at SPCK, EBC monastics from Ealing, Douai, Worth and Stanbrook, together with members of the Wellspring Community and friends of Stanbrook, gathered to celebrate the launch of ‘The Way of Benedict: Eight Blessings for Lent’ by Sr Laurentia Johns OSB of Stanbrook Abbey.
Abbot President Christopher Jamison blessed one copy as a sign of the work’s being sent out on mission to bring the Gospel via the Rule of St Benedict to many people this Lent. While geared towards a lay audience the book offers insights for all who follow the Rule of St Benedict.
