History was made recently when Abbot Christopher Jamison gave the Charles Gore lecture in Westminster Abbey. He was the first Abbot President of the EBC to speak there since the Reformation. Before the lecture, Abbot Christopher laid flowers on the tomb of John Islip, Abbot of Westminster and last Abbot President before the dissolution of the monasteries.
